RECYCLING ALLOY INSTRUCTIONS



1.  What kind of alloy are you recycling?  Is it new, used, scrap or a little of each and is it low melting (158°F) or high melting (203°F) alloy?

 

Definitions
New – Never melted from its original form – unused

Used – Alloy that has been used/melted, but is free of debris

Scrap – Alloy that contains debris of any kind, such as sludge that has been skimmed out of the pot, alloy shavings or vacuum dust.

2.  How many pounds of alloy do you have to recycle?

<100 Pounds
• Send the Alloy to RPDinc at:
Radiation Products Design Inc.
Attn:  Recycle Alloy (and specify low or high melting alloy)

• You can use your own shipping materials to recycle your alloy, or gallon cans and box cartons are available for purchase.

• Each box should not exceed 50 lbs.

Between 100 and 300 Pounds
• Fill out the Alloy Recycling Form (click here) include the box dimensions and weights that will be shipped.
