 The AccuFix QUEST™ Breast Board features a robust angling mechanism which provides precise patient positioning with no worry of collapse. This mechanism allows for indexed angulation of 1.25°,5°, 7.5°, 10°, 15°, 20° and 25° and is CT compatible at up to 10° on most scanners (25° on certain larger bore machines) Optional 30° and 35° angle wedges are available. The board’s carbon fiber skin and foam core construction provide for a rigid support with minimal sag or attenuation.
The AccuFix QUEST Carbon Fiber Breast Board comes with a deep dish head cup and biaxial clocking plates. As you would expect, all possible movements are indexed with scales or alphanumerics. The board folds flat for ease of storage.
An indexed bottom stopper is available to prevent a patient from sliding down the board. This bottom stopper can be indexed to any of 6 positions and is reversible to comfortably accommodate a wide variety of body types. Interchangeable (L to R) Arm Sets are also available. An Arm Shuttle (also know as a wing board or butterfly board) is available as an alternative to an Arm Set. Silverman, Timo, and Gel Donut headrests are available as an alternative to the standard head cup. An optional storage hook is available which allows the unit to be hung flat on the wall.
