The Aktina Carbon Fiber Breast Board allows for indexed angulations of 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 degrees and is CT compatible at up to 10° on all scanners (15° on certain larger bore machines). All movements are indexed with scales or alphanumerics. An optional angulation kit allows for angles of 5° and 7.5°.
The board includes an indexed Hip Stopper and a round head cushion. It also interfaces to indexing bar of treatment couch
The arm kit is sold separately. Each kit includes a right and left baseplate, a Triax arm support, a wrist support and a hand grip. The arm set is right or left interchangeable.
Other options are a Silverman adaptor which allows the use of Silverman supports or a gel cushion. The optional Arm Cradle can be easily attached to the breast board with the supplied quick release knobs.. The arm cradle includes a V-grip, a hand grip post, and a round head cushion.
The board folds flat for ease of storage and shipping.
