The 3-D Pelvic/Whole Body Board was designed for use when full body stabilization is desired. It may be used to anchor thermoplastics to treat any area, from pituitary lesions where the head must be maintained at a given angle to pelvic tumors with the patient lying either prone or supine.
The durable acrylic baseplate is perforated in the pelvis area to reduce attenuation. The 3-D board can be used in CT and MRI. 18” reuseable handles mount easily on the baseplate using indexing pegs and quick release swivel clamps. The head area accomodatess 9” x 10” and 10” x 12” Reusable U-Frames or Disposable U-Frames as well at Timo, Silverman and MoldCare® head supports. The patients head can be angled from 0o to 45o.
The wider base increases stability and the rubber feet prevent slippage.
The unit is supplied with prone and supine head holders, an indexing pole elevation system for head angulation, and one pair of 18” handles.
