The Carbon Fiber Composite construction provides exceptionally lightweight handling, allowing for one person set up.
The Max2™ TorsoBoard can be used for both lung and breast treatments and is compatible with low melt thermoplastics used for immobilization. The optional arm/wrist cup provides positive locking to assure stability and reproducibility. The cup is interchangeable for right or left side.
The Max2™, with attenuation equivalent to air, reduces calculation time while improving treatment accuracy. The Max2 also includes a full set of 5° to 25° wedges that stay securely in place even when unit is moved, and distribute the weight evenly so that bowing does not occur.
It has negligible flex, even along grid panel edges and helps assure treatment accuracy and range. The skid resistant base provides full, sure-grip surface contact with the table, enhancing patient safety. Flat positioning is a treatment option with flush board mounting.
Optional items are an insert to mount Timo supports for the head ,the arm/wrist cups and the backstop pad.
