This patented head and neck device is revolutionary in that it seamlessly integrates shoulder depression. The device’s unique cantilever design allows for 360 degree treatment with minimal attenuation. The fully adjustable carbon fiber Bear-Claw Shoulder Depression System is designed to increase setup repeatability and reduce patient motion without requiring large sheets of thermoplastic over the shoulders. Adapters are avilable to mount the Cantilever Board to the treatment tables and position the board in a fixed and repeatable location to prevent tipping that can occur with other headboards.
Bear-Claw Shoulder Suppression The Bear-Claw shoulder restraints are fully indexable and easily adjustable, offering a comfortable combination to fit every patient. Cushioned memory-cell padding provides extra comfort. Ct Version Bear-Claws are used when the head of the Cantilever Board cannot be extended off the couchtop, such as during simulation. Reversible flag design can extend medially or laterally to fit the widest variety of patients. Patient’s shoulders can be released quickly by pulling the “T” release handle. There are reproducible increments on the reverse side of each Bear-Claw and dual slots for multiple index options. Four different Baer-Claw varieties are available for a perfect fit: Standard (RT-4524X), Pediatric (RT-4524PED), Extra-Tall (RT-4524LW), and CT Version (RT-4524XX-S).
Tilt-Pro Tilting Base The Tilt-Pro Tilting Base allows precise angling of the head in both prone and supine treatments to avoid critical structures and is engineered to operate in conjunction with the AccuFix Cantilever Board. The Tilt-Pro adapts easily to most treatment tabletops, simulator and CT tables. It is designed for one step molding, positioning, and indexing of Aquaplast RT U-Frame masks. Indexable channel arms allow adjustments from 0 to 30 degrees, in 5-degree increments. Optional 45-degree channel brackets are also available. The Tilt-Pro Tilting Base uses traditional or Slimline disposbale U-Frames, Silverman Head Supports, and MOLDCARE Head Cushions. Quick-release swivel locks allow emergency patient release. The Tilt-Pro tilting Base is completely non-metallic. The top plate (the ProBoard) uis available by itself for standard flat treatments. This provides am economical upgrade path for future tilting treatments.
Prone CSA Kit This device greatly simplifies the molding of prone masks. The kit includes everything needed to use your Tilt-Pro Base for Prone Cranial Spinal Axis (CSA) treatment, including a molding fixture (for forming the prone mask), and Double-High White Nylon Swivel Locks (for securing two masks at once).
Hand Grip Array The Hand Grip Array provides dependable indexed positioning of the patient’s hands. This optional device helps ensure accurate patient alignment from treatment to treatment.
