- Remote ionization chamber with 8 foot cable (longer lengths available)
- Menu driven programming for easy navigation
The console of the CRC-15R is laid out for fast, efficient navigation. There are 9 factory assigned nuclide keys and 5 unassigned nuclide keys that can be programmed to meet the users needs. The unit has a large LCD display that will shows the isotope name, activity (in Ci or Bq) and calibration number. A custom alphanumeric keyboard drives all of the menus and functions.
The chamber of the CRC-15R has 1/8” (3.2 mm) mechanically reinforced lead shielding. The chamber is sealed thin wall, deep well design with high pressure Argon gas in order to achieve optimal speed of response (within 2 seconds) without having to make temperature or pressure adjustments.
The software has a menu driven design that will allow the user to move swiftly through all of the system functions. The Daily QC protocol will perform zero adjust, background subtraction, system test, accuracy (with a deviation percentage) and constancy. The nuclide library is programmed with more than 80 nuclides with calibration numbers and half-lives, plus available space for 10 additional nuclides. Also, with the pre/post calibration function obtaining accurate data is just a button away.
The CRC-15R is quick, reliable and cost effective. With optional features such as the RS-232 computer interface port, a selection of printers.
