The Electronic Pocket Dosimeter uses semiconductor detectors that are sensitive to gammas and x-rays. Each dosimeter indicates the integrated radiation dose equivalent on a 4-digit liquid crystal display. [Note: 1 µSv= 0.1 mRem]

Note: As an attempt to verify operation or accuracy, never irradiate the dosimeter directly to a source such as X-ray as it is not designed for exposures in locations where doserate is 100 mSv/h or more. For questions concerning calibration or repair, please call 1-800-497-2071. It is recommended by the manufacturer that dosimeters should be tested for accuracy on an annual basis by a qualified lab. Units failing to meet specifications cannot be repaired or re-calibrated.
