MSDS MoldCare® Head Cushion

MoldCare® Cushions allow a customized support to be made of a patient’s head and neck or head and shoulders. These single patient use cushions provide greater comfort and reproducibility.

MoldCare® Cushions are a soft fabric bag, “pillow”, containing resin coated polystyrene beads that are water activated. When sprayed evenly with room temperature water the cushion becomes moldable and can then be molded/formed to the patient’s contours. In 5 to10 minutes the cushion becomes a rigid but comfortable customized support.

MoldCare® Cushions have a low specific gravity (.01) with a CT value less than -800.
