The PC-4P CT Pencil Chamber was designed to offer the technologist or physicist an excellent means of measuring the output of CT x-ray scanning equipment. The PC-4P chamber has a 3 ml active volume and is available in two lengths, 10 cm active length and the exclusive 14 cm active length. The chamber is constructed of Air Equivalent Conducting Plastic. The PC-4P Pencil Chamber is connected to triaxial cable terminating with a TNC connector. (BNC Connector is available upon request).
The newest employment for the PC-4P Pencil Chamber is in the QC of panoramic dental x-ray machines. The chamber is used in measuring the output x-ray exposure due to Computed Tomography (CT Systems) and in determining Computed Tomography Dose index (CTDI) measurements
