•  High resolution real time diode array
•  Window PC interface
•  Rapid setup and beam acquisition

The Profiler™ is a linear array of 46 radiation hardened diode detectors. The detectors are spaced at every 5 mm, and are suitable for both photon and electron energies.

The Profiler™ diode array is imbedded beneath 1.0 cm of H2O equivalent buildup.  The entire product weighs only 4 kg, and is used directly on the treatment couch, or in the available gantry attachment.

The Profiler™ communicates with a host computer via a single 25 m cable. The host computer is the comprehensive interface and storage device for the Profiler™ which supports Windows 95 and higher as well as NT.

Profiler™ data is viewed on the PC screen in real time, and can be viewed in either dose or rate mode. Profiles just taken can be easily compared against earlier profiles with the click of a mouse. Automatic analysis routines provide a wealth of data.  Applications range from Dynamic or Virtual Wedge measurements to routine beam trouble shooting.

Profiler™ applications are as specific or diverse at the user chooses. Routine QA issues, such as those contained in TG-40, are easily addressed with the Profiler’s™ 46 channel real-time detector array. More modern QA dilemmas, such as Tissue Compensator and IMRT QA, can also be quickly addressed with the Profiler™ and it’s available software packages.

Motor Drive Assembly (MDA) Item 321-705
This accessory provides rotational and linear motion, allows automation of the calibration process, remote movement of the Profiler™, and two-dimensional beam data collection - scans the entire beam and displays beam’s eye view plot of isodose curves.

In addition to the enhanced data presentation, the MDA, allows the user to remotely manipulate the Profiler™, obviating the need for frequent trips into the therapy vault. In fact, the MDA is pre-programmed to perform the Profiler™ calibration routine, allowing calibration to be accomplished during a single exposure. When in use, the MDA and Profiler™ both communicate and obtain power through a single cable.
The optional Profiler™ Motor Drive Turntable provides three major functions:
1. The MDA automates the Profiler™ calibration procedure.
2. The MDA allows remote rotation of the Profiler™ to angular positions within the beam.
3. The MDA can rotate the Profiler™ such that the detector array is used to scan the entire beam in a single rotation.  The scanned data is displayed   in three dimensional format with the X and Y axis being the plane of the    Profiler™, and the Z axis the beam intensity throughout that plane.     Isodose lines can also be displayed from the beams eye view.

321-700  Profiler™ Therapy Beam QA System
A 46 channel linear array with off-axis detectors for real-time beam QA analysis, 25 meter power-data cable, serial cable, power supply (110/220 V), acrylic build-up (2-2cm & 1-1cm), PC Windows software interface, which includes a user calibration routine, and a comprehensive database manager, with full graphical interface, for daily QA data collection and analysis.
321-705  MDA (Motor Drive Assembly)
The MDA sits beneath the Profiler™ and rotates it a full 360 degrees for a full field 3-D beam intensity map.  The MDA includes additional graphical and analysis software to make full use of the 3-D data.
321-710  Profiler™ Import Utility
This software utility runs on same PC as Profiler™ software. Import dose map files from the TPC into this utility - compare measured profiles from the Profiler™ to the calculated profiles in the dose map. Alignment template included for easy and precise positioning.
321-715  Gantry Mount Bracket for Profiler™
Attaches easily to the block tray, which is provided.  The customer must specify accelerator type to determine which block tray to include.
321-716  Electron Energy Verification Wedge
Verify electron energies quickly and efficiently with a stepped wedge that sits neatly atop the Profiler™.
321-717  Array Extension Kit
Includes bracket and software which allows end-to-end connection of two Profilers™, provides (92) detector array for up to 45 cm fields at 100 cm SSD.
321-725  Addition Vault Setup Package
Includes Power-data cable, serial (RS-232) cable, power interface module, and main power cord.
