The 1” Rotund Lead Container can be used to store syringes or vials that contain or have residue radiopharmaceuticals. This container is for use in nuclear medicine and PET departments.
The container has a 1” lead wall with a 4” inside diameter. The lid has a 1 1/16” x 4” dia. center that protrudes into the container which prevents the lid from sliding and firmly seats the lid on the container.

Item 994-060 Rotund Lead Container has 44.5 mm (1.75”) shielding. This shield will hold vials up to a 30 cc and can be used for quick transport of 511 keV products. 

Item 990-061 is a smaller vial shield with 25.4 mm (1”) lead walls, when less shielding is required but maintains the same inside diameter for 30 cc vials. 

Both of these units may be used as a primary shield for high energy products but should be placed behind additional shielding when storing activity. The canister is fitted with an easy carry handle that securely fastens down the top using thumb screws attached to the steel band around the container.
