Lead Intensifying Screens for Radiotherapy
Lead Intensifying Screens are primarily used to intensify the radiographic image. They are generally used in pairs by placing the x-ray film between the bare lead surfaces of the screens. Each screen surface is protected with a semitransparent coating, which must be peeled off prior to use. For maintaining long-lasting screens it is highly recommended that a cassette be used.
