Shielded Storage Container -  0.5" (1.27cm) Lead

This Shield Storage Container can be used to store radioactive materials that require the equivalent lead shielding of 1/2" (1.27 cm) or less.  The container is made of steel with 1/2" (1.27 cm) lead lining on all sides and the removeable cover.  It is finished with a highly durable tan powder coating finish.  The storage container features both a removeable shielded cover as well as a hinged lid to help secure the cover to the rest of the container at all times. The lid also works well to keep the weight from the shielding off of the hinge and ensuring a longer life cycle for the container. The lid feastures two latches that can have locks applied to them if desired.
