Klarity Cushions are advanced indexing tools that provide secure, customized head and neck support for patients. These cushions are made from low-density thermoplastic-based materials that become soft and pliable when heated in an oven or water bath. After heating, Klarity Cushions offer warm and comforting support that has a calming effect on most patients.

Once cool, Klarity Cushions become firm and rigid, ensuring excellent reproducibility and precise placement for highly accurate treatment. Klarity Cushions can be used with Silverman headrests, and they also fit under a thermoplastic mask to create 360-degree custom support and immobilization. New Klarity Cushions with a Neck Insert can be used without a Silverman headrest, enabling optimal cervical spine support and immobilization.

The inner cushion contains a proprietary mix of high-quality, lightweight polystyrene surrounded by a thin layer of thermoplastic. The soft and stretchable outer covering is made of simple nylon fabric. All Klarity Cushions are 100% nontoxic, with minimal shrinkage and no odor. Klarity Cushions are one-perpatient, but they can be reheated and reformed if needed.

This size is a smaller sized Klarity Cushion designed to be used with pediatric and adolescent patients.

Standard with Neck Bump (Item # 262-551) 15x25 cm
This size is a standard Klarity Cushion with a bump to help support the neck.

Stnadard (Item # 262-552) 20x25 cm
This size is the standard size Klarity Cushion designed to fit over a Silverman for customized immobilization.

Standard with Wider Base (Item # 262-553) 23x30 cm
This size has a slightly wider base for greater support under the head and neck.  Along with improved indexing, this cushion works well on the Q1 headrest and standard Silverman headrests.

Standard Large (Item # 262-554) 20x40 cm
This size is a long versatile Klarity Cushion tht offers multiple types of custom support. It can be used to mold around the arm and wrist as well as other extremities that require customized positioning. This cushion can also be used under the head and neck with a standard Silverman headrest, providing a long line of support that extends from the C-spine to the crown of the head.

Standard Largest (Item # 262-555) 40x60 cm
This size is the largest Klarity Cushion. It performs well in situations requiring a large support base. The cushion can be molded around the extremities.It can also be used for full-torso support as well as additional pelvic cushioning.
