The Optek™ Overlay is a comfortable and adaptable S-type Overlay for head and neck treatments. The lower portion gently tapers for patient comfort and the overlay is equipped with additional indexing around the edges. The Carbon Fiber Optek™ Overlay is extremely lightweight and CT-compatible. Adjustable hand grips assist with shoulder retraction. The Optek™ Overlay is compatible with all S-Type Masks and is dual-configured for adult and pediatric patients.

The Optek Overlay fixes to the treatment couch with either a standard indexing bar, or a custom indexing bar (Item 269-706 or Item 269-708), which is strongly recommended to reduce side to side movement. The Optek Overlay comes equipped with pins for affixing a headrest, and is compatible with all standard silverman style headrests. The baseplate can also be used with a Klarity Cushion™ or Vacuum Bag in lieu of a headrest. It is compatible with S-type thermoplastic masks. Optional use handgrips are included with the Optek Overlay and offer an easily adjustable option for hand and arm positioning.

Item 269-750 or 269-753: The Optional SRS Adaptors will fit the Optek™ Overlay or a CIVCO S-Type Baseplate. This adaptor will allow the use of SRS Head Mask Set on the Optek™ Overlay. The adaptor is ordered separately.
